27 MARCH 2008 For the past four months since December 2007 we had a property expo every month in Centurion Mall and in February we also had one in Woodlands. We really enjoyed meeting all our new clients and we had quite a few sales which went through already. We have another expo running at the moment until Sunday, 30 March 2008. So visit us this weekend in Centurion Mall for assistance with all your property related needs! We are looking forward to many more expo’s in the future and hope to see and meet even more new faces.
We would also like to congratulate Nerina, principal of Kibo Properties, on successfully completing a rigorous certification process and being awarded the Certified International Property Specialist designation by the National Association of Realtors. This qualification has only been awarded to 2,800 estate agents world wide of which only 9 are from South-Africa. The course is designed to qualify real estate professionals to have the skills and knowledge necessary to facilitate international real estate transactions. In This Photo Nerina is receiving her certificate from Jim Harris (Chair, International Operations Committee).
On Thursday, the 24th of May 2007, Kibo Properties had it’s first official client party. The event took place at Tuscan BBQ, Lynnwood Road, Pretoria. And what a night it was! On this chilly winter evening our clients arrived between 6 and 7pm looking all dressed up for the occasion. Some arrived with a spouse, some with a friend and some on their own, all of them ready for a fun evening. On arrival there was a sherry for everyone to chase away the cold. Photographs were taken of every couple and most people didn’t have a problem smiling at the camera. Nerina, principal of Kibo Properties, opened with a short speech thanking everybody for attending and saying that they were specially invited because of the quality referrals they have sent her over the years. She then explained that the name Kibo was derived from the highest free standing mountain in the world, which is Kilimanjaro. The mountain consists of three volcano’s of which Kibo is the highest. The symbolism can also be seen in the logo where the mountain is graphically shown on top of the name. The name, Kibo, stand for reaching for the highest and the best in everything we do. The Kibo Properties team was then introduced: Liza van Zyl, who is the administrative assistant, and the three agents who joined Kibo Properties recently, namely Loraine Weideman, Madelaine Weideman and Erle Ninow. Nerina said that she believes that this team, by taking hands and working together, with the help of the Lord, will reach the heights that they were striving for. After the main meal, where everybody could eat as much as they liked, prizes were handed over. Earlier the evening cards were handed out on which guests could fill in their personal details as well as any referrals they wanted to pass on to Kibo Properties. These cards were placed in a bowl and the lucky draw took place.
Nerina again thanked everybody for the referrals that they have sent her in the past, and reiterated that her business is built by the referrals she receives from good friends and clients. Desert was enjoyed while our guests mingled and renewed some old acquaintances and got to know new people and some new friendships were formed. Upon leaving, every lady received an envelope with a voucher for a free neck and back or Indian head massage from Schoongezich Boutique, Hotel & Spa. And every man received a bottle of 30yr old home made fortified wine with the Kibo Properties label. What a night! Kibo Properties would like to thank everyone who attended our launch and made this event such a big success. We especially want to thank the following people : Our agents, Loraine, Madelaine and Erle as well as Liza for their hard work and all the hours, energy and creativity that went into the planning of this event. We are already looking forward to next year’s party and hope that all our loyal friends and clients will be able to join us again. |
